The three-day NEPCON JAPAN took place in Tokyo, Japan from January 24th to 26th, 2024. This annual event attracts a large number of companies from both domestic and international markets. As a renowned electronic component distributor, LKR was invited to participate in the exhibition, located at East Hall 3 E18-42. As a distributor from Hong Kong, China, our goal was to showcase the company's strengths and capabilities, laying the foundation for expanding into new markets.

Exhibition Introduction:

The Electronic Components and Materials Manufacturing Equipment Exhibition (NEPCON JAPAN), also known as the Tokyo Smart Wearable Exhibition, was held in Tokyo, Japan on January 24th, 2024. The exhibition ran from January 24th to January 26th and took place at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center in Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo 135-0063, Japan. The event was organized by Reed Exhibitions, a UK-based exhibition group, and is held annually. The exhibition covered an area of 81,000 square meters and attracted 85,924 visitors, with over 2,000 participating companies showcasing their products and brands.

Japan is a powerhouse in the electronics industry. However, in recent years, with the continuous development of AI electronics, the domestic electronic manufacturing sector in Japan has experienced a decline. It has shifted from rapid sales growth to relying on the advantages of electronic core components and upstream chemical materials. In this process, new demands have emerged in the Japanese market, presenting good opportunities for Chinese manufacturers of finished products and supporting products to enter the Japanese market and also providing broad cooperation opportunities. The International Electronic Components, Materials, and Manufacturing Equipment Exhibition in Japan has been held since 1972. In 2000, it expanded to include exhibitions on IC packaging technology, printed circuit boards, and electronic components, further enhancing the value of the exhibition and making it an internationally comprehensive exhibition in the fields of electronic research, design, and manufacturing. In recent years, additional concurrent exhibitions have been added, focusing on automotive electronics, electric vehicles, LED/OLED lighting technology, and wearable electronic products, which have promising development prospects. This exhibition has been growing and expanding along with the development of Japan's electronic industry. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of exhibitors and visitors from China, South Korea, and Taiwan.
